The Liberty Bell

Philadelphia County is 142.71 square miles.

  • It is the 6th most populous city in the United States and the most populous city in Pennsylvania.

  • approximately 380,000 children between the ages of 5-14 call Philadelphia County home.

  • There are 149 public elementary schools.

  • The Philadelphia School Districts has 149 district-run schools, 18 charter schools, and 19 alternative schools for elementary aged children.

  • The Philadelphia School District is the 8th largest in the nation.

Philadelphia is where our country's Founding Fathers declared Liberty.  Old City still boasts charming cobblestone streets and plenty of 18th-century charm.

The volunteers at CEF of Philadelphia County are committed, trained and qualified.  They come from diverse backgrounds and ages, but one thing they all share is a love for the Lord and His children.

Lorraine Davis

Director 

A native of Philadelphia County, Lorraine graduated from CMI in 1991.  She has worked with Child Evangelism Fellowship for 30 years and is the Director of Philadelphia County.  She loves working with inner-city children from muli-cultural backgrounds.  Lorraine has been a faithful servant of the Lord in her work with CEF.  

Her favorite scripture is Philippians 1:6
